Maxwell Aston is a Character and Environment artist living in Los Angeles. He mixes the two together to create what he calls "environments with character." He always had a love for drawing at a very young age. Born in America, he moved to England at a young age, and young Maxwell would enjoy the architecture and history of London. In particular was his love of knights, kings, and especially swords. He moved back to Los Angeles and drew swords all day every day. This love of drawing progressed to a point where he began to take art lessons and entered in student art competitions.

In High School, he began to learn about the legendary surrealists - Salvador Dali, Max Ernst and René Magritte - which inspired him to create art more abstract, surreal, and conceptual art. His concepts drastically changed, from duplicating video game and television characters to a more whimsical style, with more political references, and called for a greater unification of humanity.

During his time at The Art Institute, he had the privilege of designing backgrounds on an award-winning animated student short

film titled "Rainbowshine". He currently works on conceptual art and personal works. Maxwell graduated from the Art Institute of California - Los Angeles in March of 2013.
